Packaging Party, Thursday January 25

Join the Tranzmission Prison Project and Asheville Prison Books for a book packaging extravaganza at 6-9pm at Firestorm Books & Coffee (610 Haywood Road) on Thursday, January 25.

We will prepare packages of books and zines for mailing to prisons across the United States. Books have already been selected for each recipient: but we need YOU to help get them wrapped and addressed!

Can't make it but still want to get involved? We always need volunteers! Hit us up at ashevilleprisonbooks@gmail.com or stop by a weekly volunteer day, Saturdays from 2-4pm at the Prison Books Office in back of Downtown Books and News.
